What to Expect During a Session with Amanda
Welcome to Olive & Eve Photography! I'm Amanda Costelloe, and I’m thrilled to share what you can expect during a photography session with me. My goal is to make your experience enjoyable, relaxed, and memorable, resulting in stunning photos you'll cherish forever. Here's a glimpse of what happens during a typical session with Olive & Eve Photography.
I believe that the best photos come from being in a place where you feel most comfortable. Whether that’s your home, a favourite park, or a beautiful central location in Southern Ontario, I will come to you. I typically arrive 10-20 minutes early to scout the location, setup my equipment and ensure everything is perfect for your session. This includes my trusty Nikon camera and any necessary lighting equipment to achieve the best results.
Feeling at ease in front of the camera can be challenging, but it's my priority to make you feel comfortable, regardless of your comfort level with being photographed. I’ll provide gentle guidance and direction on how to pose, ensuring the results look natural and effortless. My approach is laid-back and patient, allowing you time to warm up and feel at ease in your surroundings.
During our session, you’ll have my undivided attention. I don’t watch the clock to the second; instead, I focus on capturing the perfect moments and making sure I’m happy with the session. Depending on the duration of your booking, there may be an opportunity for an outfit change, adding variety to your photos.
Post-Session Review and Editing
Once we’ve captured all the necessary shots, I carefully review the session to select the best photos. Each selected image undergoes meticulous editing, including lighting and color correction, as well as touchups such as skin smoothing and enhancing eyes. The goal is to ensure every photo is polished and beautiful.
I know how eager you are to see your photos, so I aim to provide sneak peeks within a few days, then a full online digital album within approximately 1-2 weeks for standard sessions. For larger sessions and weddings, the timeline extends to around 4 weeks to accommodate the additional editing required.
